yeah, read about that one, chances are 90% of those pennies will fall into the abyss, because people dont realize what they have, till it is too late..

50 years from now some poor soul like one of us will find one metal detecting and then try to redeem it

Rats !!! they did Denver but not the western slope of Colorado .. Oh well maybe our daughter will get lucky as she lives in Denver..

These need to be redeemed by the end of this year when you find them.Good luck to all!

My thoughts are how can a bank afford to give away that type on money? I think they are ssuming very few if any will be found. Now if we could just see the other side :tongue3:

Hey guys, better chance of finding this token than a 1909S VDB

I hope some of these coins are on the streets in the great state of Connecticut. Good hunting and good luck.

Tnmountains..."How can a bank afford to give away that type of money"? That makes me laugh. Good luck to anyone who can find these.

There will be very few that will be pick up, I hope by poor people,

Have they been "placed" in circulation, or, just tossed out on the ground?

According the the bank's website the coins were placed on the ground. The bank is also giving hints as to where some of them were left.
