Threaded Lead Plug? Mid 1800s Military Site

Threaded Lead Plug? Mid 1800's Military Site

I found this threaded lead plug yesterday and would like to find out what it is. It appears that it would only take two rotations for it to seat into place and is solid with no holes through it.

The bullet was found nearby and is for size reference. Thanks

Bigfootokie I have no idea. That is way to big for a barrel... Maybe post that picture in the "What is it section". I think they may be able to figure out what that thing plugged.

It could possibly be for a powder keg.
