I was hoping I could get some info on three items I dug at an early 1900's house yesterday.

1) Item #1 looks like some sort of on/off valve but the bottom comes to a perfectly sealed point like it was meant to stick into something. I think it is made of copper, brass, or both. :dontknow:

2) Item #2 as you can see has two hooks, mounting holes, and is made of brass. :icon_scratch:

3) Item #3 is some sort of 3-piece brass hinge. Any idea what it may have been used on? :dontknow:

Thanks for looking, and input would greatly be appreciated.

#1 looks like a old gas line valve for the old time gas lights I've dug a couple of those

Thanks for the info Miller. We'll consider #1 solved then, since I had two others e-mail me to say that same thing.

I think the hinge was used for something like a pie cabinet. one door having a screen, and the second a full cover.

On your hinge, do all 3 pieces swivel independently?
