Hello everybody!! Went on a 4 hr hunt today with my buddy Ken to a park that was founded in 1900. He had heard from a guy he knows that found some IH pennies there before. We got there around 1:00 pm and started hunting. I of course had to hit the Tot Lot, pulled out $1.50 in clad. Ken was detecting near the sidewalk, about 5 mins later he calls me over, Ken finds a beautiful 1942 Merc. About 3 mins later and 5 ft away he calls out again. This time it's another Merc 1944 in great shape
Everytime I take this guy out with me he finds the first silver
but of course he's got a E-TRAC with the 12" coil, and I have the lowly Fisher F2...8" coil
But anyway not to make this into a book. I found total clad $2.50 Ken found the 2 Mercs + a nice 1906 V nickel a few wheaties , $4.00 in clad. My finds was a 1941 Merc, 1936 quarter, a beat up Canadian silver dime, date was chopped off A good luck pocket token, 4 Wheaties 1912,1936, 1942, 1946. And a cool water nozzle that's old. Here's the pictures. Going back tomorrow. HH
