Three tier table Please help me identify this table.

I recently purchased this table at auction. I have not been able to find out the age, What it was used for and the value. Can anyone help? It has a removable oval insert and side boards that pull out on each side. 30.5" tall x 17" wide x 36" long

Possibly for serveing food the cut out section must have had a dish that fitted, no idea on value. but it's a nice side table.

Possibly a wash stand? Held bowl with water.....It's cool though...I have seen a lot of antigue tables and never saw one like that. We need the Keno brothers from the antigues road show to help us....lol.
