I just finished inventorying, labeling and trying to identify bullets I've found at Indian War sites over the past three years. These are the ones in perfect/near perfect condition. I probably have twice this amount that are mangled or deformed beyond displaying. I've been able to identify about 80% of them, but I've mainly had difficulty labeling the pistol rounds. There doesn't seem to be as many references for handgun ammo. If anyone considers themselves knowledgeable about bullets from that period I'd be glad for some help. I wish there was a forum just for Indian War relics. It'd be more convenient for posting.
