This was a good day. Two days ago I spent 15 hrs at two different hospitals with my daughter, not sure what was wrong with her. Yesterday we spent all day doing a detox to clear out her stomach. So it was nice to get out and get my mind off of all the stress of the last couple days! Thank you for looking have a good day!

Hope your girl is doing better....keep up the good work with the scores....
Old farts are coming in droves now....no telling what you'll find this season...

Your not kidding. Driving sucks.

Be interesting to see how much that pen cap would sell on it's own?. Could go for around the scrap value or maybe more from a pen collector who has been searching a long time for one ? It's cool to find old writing instruments. I paid 3 bucks for this sterling Edward Todd pencil and cleaned it up and sold it for around $150. I remember I got a end auction offer for a $100. as soon as I listed it.

I was surprised it was in there. Part of me wants to go back and ask the store if they have the rest of the pan but then I feel like they will really check their bags better. So decided that I will be happy with what I have. I might auction it this week. I just don't want it to end on Black Friday. Which I guess is a Wednesday this year. So we should be good. Lol! Maybe I should start the auction at scrap? Or is $.99 better?

I would put scrap in the title. I always use the word scrap when selling some gold or silver things. I may say "for scrap or "not scrap. It just draws the scrappers in on the auction who bid things up. I would list it in both precious metals recovery and vintage writing instruments if I had it.

You're sooo lucky that you have this many thrift stores around you!

There is a lot. And I've been other towns that have very little. Our town is seasonal so this time of year is harder.

I did start the pen cap At $.99. Sold John hardy for 150. Went back out yesterday and bought a gold necklace. The one store had seven gold electroplated the rings anywhere between $85 and $250. Thinking they were 10k. That was crazy. I even acid tested them for her and she still didn't believe me that they weren't gold. Even though it failed. It's addicting shopping that's for sure. The prices seem to be hired for seasonal right now though. So I'm trying to knock out as many thrift stores however I get bored very easily, sitting in front of a computer all day drives me nuts and I start to lose my mind so I have to go out looking for stuff.

If any of you ever make it down here for vacation I'll give you a list of which ones I believe are decent on a regular basis. Have a good day! And a happy Thanksgiving!

I love the "city tour". You should start a band - "BK23" World Tour 2017!!

A Country tour would be way better! That won't happen until after my kids graduate college though. My youngest is five! On my city tour yesterday I found this for $2.50. 2001 1 oz eagle. It was inside a small bag of coins. Cheapest one I ever got!
