THunting in the Traverse City area?

Anyone aware of any good locales for THunting in the Traverse City area? Will be there this weekend for a wedding and thought I'd spend my free time scouting around. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I have been there a dozen times. There are a lot of small farm houses just to the north and east in the town of Acme and Williamsburg. Find some permissions and good luck
You could also drive down M72 to Kalkaska for some old town feel and their public parks
