Tiger Shark on Land? vs. Ace 250

How well does the Tiger Shark do in parks and fields for Coins, Jewelry and Relics. Compared to a Garrett Ace 250?

I know it does well in the water, from what I have heard what about as a Land MD.

Well,as you probably know I have been hunting in the water with a TS all summer. I can't say enough good about it as a water machine. However as a land machine I have little experience with it. I am lucky enough to have a closet full of detectors to chose from. I usually select the very best machine for the type of detecting I am going to do. This I can tell you: It's heavy (should be hip mounted for use on land), It does not have any tone ID, no visual ID, and is not mode switching friendly.I am a Tesoro dealer but I would never give bad advise to another detectorist. In a pinch the TS will work on land, do I recommend that it be used with any regularity that way, no. Joe
