Just had to get out today despite being up for 23 consecutive hours from working all night so I went down the road from my house to a nice old guy cutting his grass, gave him my shpeal and he asked that I write a waiver releasing him from any liability to myself and my equipment so I happily obliged. Once done with that riff raff he said I have 30 minutes because he had somewhere to be, WHATS WITH PEOPLE GIVING ME TIME LIMITS LATELY!!!!
, my detecting is like art, I need time to make beautiful art, lol JK!! anyhow I took advantage of all 30 minutes and managed 2 wheats, a 1891 indian ,what appears to be 1917 buffalo nickel, 2 clad nickels, a part of a wristwatch and my best of the day a SHIELD NICKEL! I think its 1870 but the date is pretty worn, the coin is toasted but its my 2nd ever shield and ill take er' I put some pre and post cleaning pics up to get an idea of how toasted they are but they'll look good In my collection, thanks for looking and HH!!
