tiny bottle need I.D.

Now here is a little bottle I need some help with. It was found on the beach but I have had it for so long I have lost the background story. You can see how small it is and notice the logo or letter on the bottom. I know I have seen that before but for the life of me I have got no idea where. I think it is an “L”, just not sure. The top view (which I didn’t photograph) is a real small hole. To me it is smaller than usual but look at that neck too….seems odd to me as well.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello unclemac,

That looks like an Eli Lilly "L" to me. I suspect this may be an insulin or Salk Vaccine ampule.

good guess...nice I.D. ...that seems very likely .."Lilly, Lilly" something kept going through my head. And the tiny opening in the top makes sense for this too. Look at that tiny stopper in the pic you posted. Medical waste?
