Tiny Gold, clad & junque
Hey Fellow Detector Folks,
A couple days ago I had a really bad day only 19 clad coins in 4 hours! Along with the 19 coins (wow! haha) was this tiny Jesus 14K pendant.

The main reason I quit after 4 hours (as if 19 coins weren't enough reason) was as I was heading for the 2nd tot lot at a local park when I heard someone yell. I turned around and here comes the Lone Ranger (Park Ranger)...the County Mounty. There is no medal detecting allowed in County Parks, he informed me. "Even on the wood chips?" I asked. "Yes, due to so much damage in the past." I didn't argue with him, I just split. After getting home I looked up the rules. I posted the Kent County, Michigan rules under the Michigan forum in case any of you Michiganders would like to read them. They are vague and I believe a good lawyer could punch holes in them. They also have a list of the parks under their jurisdiction so I crossed them off my list...most of them sucked anyway...no big loss as far as I'm concerned.
Today I took off early.

There were a few delays along the way. The first picture, which I will admit doesn't show too much, is a tow truck loading a black Grand Prix onto his trailor while a sheriff is parked behind him. The guy hit a deer and demolished his car...coincidentally it happened right in front of the property on which I bowhunt. One less for hunting season! The second picture is our garbage guy, notice the double yellow line...I had to wait for him to mosey back to the truck and get underway...I think he was tired.

The next picture is two days worth of junque finds and some notable finds including 3 more 1964 nickels (that makes 26 1964 nickels this year, how boring is that?). The 1927 wheat was unexpected. Couple more rings (junque).

And finally the two days worth of clad, less the pennies.

I worked until it got too dark to see anymore then headed home.
Happy hunting all, be safe out there. The cooler air is on its way!
Hey Modern Miner, here's a couple more pics of the car. Its a fairly new one as it has Disney Pixar on the bottom so its probably from the movie Cars. It just looks old cuz its a little worn.
