Chased out of the water by lightening as everybody on the west coast of Florida probably was this morning. Picked up a few things. Nothing special. Found of them fire nuggets. Failed muriatic acid test. Threw it in the redox pan for fun and it started to completely disintegrate.

Was the lock inside the big blob in pic 1?

If so, how did you clean it?

Yes. It was in the red sifter Step one, hit vigorously with hammer to remove decades of rust. Step 2, completely immerse in muriatic acid. Step 3, take pic. Step 4, throw in trash.
