✅ SOLVED Tiny vase-like thing?

I know it isn't actually a vase but it looks sort of like one. I found it at a house roughly 1820-1860 (or something like that but I don't really know for sure) that is now an apple orchard. Thoughts? Thanks.

Not 100% sure but based on the patina it looks like copper or brass.

Found a nearly identical one about 8 years ago. I think the consensus on here was that it was the end result f a rod - like for a curtain or flag or something. I’ll try to find the thread.

I think you guys are right! Some sort of finial or decorative brass. Marking as solved.
