When we water the garden next to our patio, we sometimes take our son's turtle, Tiny, out with us and let her hunt for worms. . . every once-and-awhile she finds one but usually ends up only catching twigs :D

A real candid shot. What kind of turtle is Tiny?

Thanks for the comments.
One of the teachers my wife works with gave us Tiny for our boys (I think she's a Box Turtle??) about 12 years ago. . . and Country Girl, you're right about a leash; She buried herself in the garden the first day we had her. . . :o after about 3 hours, my wife found her when she saw just the top part of her shell next to one of the tomato plants.
