What part of FL. are you going to?? Then we can better help you .

Hello everyone i'm going to Florida for a week and very new to beach hunting, i'm using an Ace 250 with the standard coil and going in without a scoop lo but have a pro pointer, any tips or tricks of beach hunting, where to look etc.
I would go to Vera beach after a NorEaster storm and go very very slow. HH Boris pieces of 8 are there!

Going to Sanibel Island, FL.

Stay out of the wet sand! That 250 will drive you nuts in the wet sand. I don't go anywhere near the wet sand with my 250 - too many false signals. You will be chasing ghosts! Stay up high in the dry sand and go slow. Don't be afraid to go back through an area after you have already removed the trash - you might be surprised!

If you have a handicap card parking is free, if not about 8 - 10 dollars per day. Ft.Myers beach is about 10 miles away. Naples beach are about 40 miles south . Naples has 42 beaches entryes with parking meters. If you need more info e-mail me.

My grandparents have a condo near the beach so I can just walk straight there a minute walk lol

I'd leave the propointer home and find a scoop. Without one you'll be bending forever trying to find the first poptop : ) You can try discriminating everything out below a nickel and turning your sensitivity down to three or four bars in the wet sand that worked for me with my Ace 350 Just swing slower. Good luck
