Tips for detecting after rain??

K so I am going to a beach later today and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to put my settings on and everything. I use and ace 250, and it just rained the other day, I will not be going in the water but obviously the sand is going to be damp/wet. Any tips will be welcome, thank you!

wrap a clear plastic bag over control unit to help keep water out or you can take it a part and seal seams with rtv and seal around speaker, that is what i did work good for me
