Newb here and I'd like to do some shallow (knee deep) fresh water/lake hunting. I'd trully appreciate any/all tips relative to 'capturing' a target after it's supposedely located by your detector.

Thanks in advance for all insight/feedback you folks might provide. HH

Practice pinpointing the target, this is most important. Once you have pinpointing under control the rest will come pretty easily. Given that you're only talking knee deep you should be able to see the coil. A long handled scoop will serve you well now. If you can't see your coil then it's just a matter of locating it with your toes once you have the target pinpointed. Just takes a little practice but you should have things under control in no time. :thumbsup:
 
Hi- you should watch aquachiggers videos on youtube- he explains a lot about water hunting. hh.
