Titanium cross

My little Silver Sabre uMax is doing fine at the downtown park!

A little over an hour, between things on the day's schedule and I found a good spread of clad & scrap.

This cross is only the 2nd piece of jewelry I've found at this place, and it gets lots of traffic.

I figured it was a high school shop class project, but when I looked at it with my shiny new loupe, (Thanks Uncle Vinnys), I saw where it was stamped TI and a logo.

Not sure what Ti is going for now, I'll check... but it's not like platinum, or palladium.

At first I thought it was stainless steel, but then I realized it's hard, but not heavy.

I'm really surprised to heat that you haven't dug one yet.
Base metal and .925 are not uncommon around here.

Now that I think of it, it might be fun to have a cross contest... for June, or something like that...
That's an idea!....
How about run it from the start of this week and run it through the month of May.
All entries posted and start a judgement poll and tally votes on D-day, June 6.

Token prize for best, and also most...

Think a moderator would participate in the poll and tally?

It should be an achievable goal for most treasure finders!

Well I know my buddy Baldinboy has found a few but I have not. Don't hunt a lot of churches which is where I think they would be found.

Where else do you hunt and find them

I don't think I've ever hunted at a church.
(Too afraid of a lightning bolt, I guess!)

I don't hunt ANY neato places like you and the Baldingboy hunt...
Your digs are awesome compared to my shabby lot.

LoL Now that it's come up, you'll probably dig a couple of 'em in a short period of time!
