8)hi folks -I got LOTS of plans for this detecting season.......detecting a bunch of state parks in Michigan-Traverse City,Petoskey,Young,Otsego Lake,Rifle RiverRec Area,Clear Lake,Cheboygan,Aloha(I made a copy of Metal Detecting in Michigan State Parks,a list of where it is and is not allowed-yes,all the above are open to detecting)--I got all the ones marked on the map that do NOT allow it-Im also attending a Christian Treasure Hunters forum hunt here in Michigan in June-after Labor Day;I am headed to a private beach club down near Detroit(I am the only one allowed in there )for a week-I will be the only one there with 2 beaches;100+acres of open rec area........in use for at least 100 years....... OH;YEAH:Where I live,they are tearing up the sidewalks downtown (100+ years old town) and replacing them-end of April ,first of May. 8) THE FUTURE IS ROSY!~!!

Looks like you have some good spots for quite a while. Hit those sidewalks hard. They can be fantastic if you like old coins.
