after seeing Roger Mn tobacco tin with 27 nails. we see them out in the woods or desert, ive never found anything yet,but its hard to pass one with out looking. i hear stories, but whats is your best find in one, brad

Not a find, but definitely an old coin storage tin. My grandma kept old and foreign coins in this tin. She gave it to me when I was little. She died in 1966.
I also got a newer Prince Albert can with coins in it. Tobacco tins must have been mouseproof and rainproof storage back then.

Nice old tin.
Was that the tobacco your grandma chewed/smoked?

Both weren't tobacco tins.
It was a tin of some sorts. Smashed it with the Lesche digger.
Out popped these.
90+ yrs in the dirt.

The other tin not impressed with really.
Different for sure. Early 1800s cellar hole.
Sunflower seeds.
