Today at the park(s)!

One plain, heavy man's 14k wedding band in the playground today, and I beat my apprentice to it! About $5 in change total and two more hot wheels. That's three gold rings in two weeks between us. A young lady came by with her two kids to play as we were leaving and she kinda smirked and replied to one's inquisition of our activity with a smug, "I think they are cleaning out the pop cans." This in a manner that gave me the impetus to ask her if she knew anyone who had recently lost a gold ring.
"Oh know you didn't!" she replied.

I showed it to her and she lit up and asked more about the hobby, though she knew nothing about the ring or who lost it.
Not ANOTHER apprentice....
I think I'll buy Uncle Johnny's farm and open a school.
