Great few hours of detecting even found my first half dollar this year, got that jeep hood, and im gessing lego thats made of metal blew my ears out on detector, even a 1974 s mint mark penny first "s" mark, :hello2:

Congrats on your first Kennedy Half Partner! Those don't pop up very often...too bad it wasn't a couple years older, you would've been in the silver! 40% of course, but silver is silver! Congrats...Ddf
 

Check the red book on the kennedy half. Good find. You have a nice area there. I was wondering the other day why they dont give the grand kids dollars anymore.

Thanks appreciate it, about year or so ago i did find another half dollar but it wasn't silver either still a great find

Yea its nice country side i live at, for easter i put silver coins and other old coins in easter eggs at our house the kids love it, and it get them started on knowing our past and history of nusmatics

Just this weekend, one of our group dug a small, plastic purple egg and we opened it together...alas..no silver, but a shiny clad quarter! Ddf

Yea i putting coin in the eggs for grandkids they like them , i think the easter bunny likes that :laughing7: thanks appreciate it
