Hello all,
Today while out MD I came across a Pepsi bottle. I have never seen a bottle like this and I'm in my late 40's. However I don't drink soda much. I look on E-bay and it seems it may be a some kind of Vintage bottle maybe 60-70s. Strange thing about the bottle is it has no soda inside, and the bottle cap has not been screwed off.
2 Questions:
Any Clue on the year or about?
Any how can the bottle be empty with the cap not haven been open. I included pics of the bottle and cap so that you can see that the seal is not broken.

Thanks for all your help

Late 70s -early 80's right before the foam labels where used on them , you could crack them open with out breaking the ring seal and drain them .then they went to those plastic bottles that do not work for bottle rockets

Thanks for the feed back. You know I never thought about the bottle rocket thing. I guess a rocket wouldn't go off to well in a plastic bottle.

Oh and many cut lips on the metal ring ...good ole days
