Today's Brain Teaser #42 (18JUL2013)
One of TN's richest members, Crispin, had been counting his money (like he does everyday). When he finished he accidentally left a $1000.00 bill on his desk but when he returned it was gone. Only two other MD'rs could have seen the bill. One was the Mackaydon and the other was the GMD52. Mackaydon told him that he had hidden it for safekeeping under his Get The Most Out Of Your Metal Detector book that was on the desk next to his first ring he ever found while MD'ng. But when they looked - the bill was not there. GMD52 said he had found the bill where Mackaydon had left it and he placed it inside the Get The Most Out Of Your Metal Detector book where he thought there was less chance that somebody would find it. He had written down the page numbers (bill was between pages 45 and 46) so that he would not forget them. Unfortunately, when they looked there was no money in the book! After Crispin had talked to Mackaydon and GMD52 he called the police. He was sure he knew who had taken the money.
Who was it and how did he know?
