Me and my detecting partner hit an area today on a huge ridge where soldiers from the Civil War were known to have been. The place has been hunted hard, but I still managed these finds there today. First dropped Spencer bullet I have ever found. A shot bullet, has 3 rings(probably a Minie). Found some more old camp lead, a tent grommet, square nail, and some modern bullets.

Great finds, hit it hard some more!!

Very nice. The dropped bullet is cool. Go back and get some more. Hit the areas that seem unlikely....You'll be surprised.
