Well ok.....as far as metal detecting went, it was a complete SKUNK, I've never had a worse day swinging a detector, but it was a new location, before I went today I talked to my buddy Randy "Treasurehound" and I remember him saying.....either watch out for snakes, or I wonder if snakes are out....well, I can say without a doubt....they are!!! Maybe I was just to paranoid watching the ground to detect lol, either way, snakes won today. And that Lizard had a evil look in his eye lol

Did you know black snakes can climb trees? I found an exceptionally long one and hung him in a low hanging tree limb to take his picture. Before I could get my camera out of its case the darn black snake climbed almost to the top of that tree! Now I look up and down when I am trapsing through the woods! Monty

I was 3 different snakes, and I almost walked over the one in the field and on the tracks, I don't hate snakes, but I don't like them either lol

I don't mind snakes as long as they are happy and moving away from me!!! we don't have much of a problem around here unless you are in the eastern part of the state!!!! Happy Hunting!! Chug

Black snake in your part of the country.....no problem. Black snake in S. Korea......many problems.....one of the most
poisen snakes here. I've seen a few of them. They don't seem to be aggresive, but sure do put me into a running mode.
Sorry about your hunt.......sounds like the one I had Saturday. Walked my shoes off, and didn't even get to take the machine

that Horny Toad is pretty bad ass... 3 black rat/racers? to me that is a good day... Ihave fun catching them an then releasing them again.. they may not be posionous but they'll make ya bleed like a stuck pig if they bite ya.....
