Today's coin haul
We started out searching some yards where the houses were being removed early this morning. I was bummed out because other then clad, there wasn't anything of interest being found. I suggested that we try a school where I had a little bit of luck finding wheat pennies in the past.
My friend left after an hour and I ended up finding the silver of the day; 3 Mercury dimes. Two were in the same hole and under a rock. They weren't even buried. The third was found about 2 inches deep with half a silver ring. Weird that it was only half a ring. I also found 5 Wheat cents on the school yard, all dated 40s and 50s.
Ended up digging 17 clad dimes, 15 quarters a nickel and about 37 Memorial cents. One productive day with the clad. A thing that goes on a hat to hold feathers (I think it is silver) and I also found the Colonel.
