Today's coin machine MAGNET FINDS 7/7/11 ----PICTURE

Hi all, went to the bank to dump my half dollars and the teller gave me the coins stuck in/off the magnet... Here's what they are:
Top row from left to right: 2005 25c canada(vetran memorial quarter?), 1974 canadian dime, 2009 canadian cent, 1986 east caribbean states 10c, 1964 greek 10 aenta??(10 something) and a golf token

Middle row left to right: 1960 france 1 franc, 1991 france 1 franc, 1998 bahama 25c, 2000 bahama 25c, 2003 mexico 1 peso

Bottom row left to right: 2005 2 eurocent(don't know which country), 2005 5 eurocent spain, 2004 5 eurocent spain, switzerland 1979 1 Fr, a coin I do not know where it's from, bangladash or india???, mexico $20 peso

The teller keeps canadians for himself, but gives me the rest, which I don't mind, I asked him for the canadian 25c because i collect them like state quarters(only have a few)... He kept 2x $1 coins and about 4 quarters and a few dimes.

Very good magnet finds, nice vareity too! hh all!

So he kept coins out of the machine? I know they aren't allowed to do that!

it's no big deal, he's nice enough to give me off the machine, I don't think they are allowed to do that either!

Most banks have a policy that the coins attached to the magnet belong to whoever really wants them, if a teller wants them or a customer wants them it really is no big deal because the bank can't do anything with them (shipping costs are too high to ship foreign coin to be exchanged into US unless you live really close to the border) and are for all intents and purposes trash. Heck, at many banks the magnet gets scraped off and emptied into the trash. So in most banks tellers are allowed to take coins off of the magnet because they are essentially trash to the bank.
