Today's dimes

I haven't been doing much crh lately, but the results haven't been too good. My last two dime boxes were skunks, but today was decent. $300 of N.F. string rolls yielded '52 and '57 Roos. The 1952 coin was quite warn and dirty -if only coins could tell their stories...

I think a dime dream box is hard to come by, but I think they are out there. The best I have had was 11 silver dimes. I had my runner up last week with six.

2 in 1 box, not bad at all, i've done 3 brinks boxes this year 2 were skunks and 1 box had a 1947-p and 1963-p

do you guys check each date, or just rim search the dimes? And if you rim search, do you use a magnifying glass? I have 20/20 vision, but if I put a dirty silver dime in a bunch of junk as a test, I can't always tell from the rim......

I used to think my lack of luck with dimes was bc I was getting crap boxes, but with reading about everyone's success I am starting to think its just me being lazy and not checking each date

I just rim search them. Anything that looks like silver or is dirty -I found a really dirty one in that bunch which was nearly black. The more you do, the better you'll get. Make sure you have good lighting so that you can differentiate the minty, new, unmarred 2010's from white silver rims (they're usually worn.) I can tell a Canadian rim from a U.S. one, and though they're rare for me lately, a silver Canuck from a nickel one. Good luck!

Did a box today plus 8 rolls and came up with another 3 rosies!! Now if they'll only stay that consistent...
