After finding 5 indians at this site and no silver I was starting to wonder. POW.
A new personal best and a chance to learn something about foriegn coins.

Have no idea what it is but I do know that is one beautiful piece of silver congrates and happy huntin
 
Congrats!!! I think it's German but not positive.
 
Never seen one, doesn't mean a thing. Could be one of the German mini kingdoms before they were united, or Austrian before it became Austria, or any number of the small dukedoms that have ceased to exist a long time ago. Lots of history there.

Its a 1/3 Thaler, a 1 Thaler would be outstanding....even over here! A coin i like to have for my collection. Congrats! :icon_thumleft:
And it is like High Plains Digger said, Sachsen was one of these small kingdoms from this time and the name still lives on as the state name in germany.
