Found this strange piece of rock in a field I'm waiting to be cleared for detecting. It has two holes and a little stripe in the surface.
Some kind of manmade object from the really old days

I know it isn't gold&Silver, but its a little special find.

I'm not for sure, but it looks like something that melted in a fire. I've found several pieces that looks a lot like that. I didn't know what they were. If scratched it would shine like silver, and to hard to be lead. Interesting find though. good luck.

Nice find Trond!! I'm pretty sure that is Neolithic. At least 8-10 thousand years old. I'm not kidding! I sow similar pieces in museum. Great job! Go back and look for more! Congrats Pannonian
