Today was the hottest day of the year to date, 89 degrees here in central Indiana. Spotty storms occurred last evening and also today.
The sun was fierce in the sky through the scattered clouds.
My eyes were burning from sweat running into them even though I had my wide brim hat on and was wiping my brow often.

I found a few broken point tips as well, not pictured here.

A nice scraper.

The secondary flaking can be seen on the edges.

Seen what looked like a poll or hammer.

The dimples left from using the hammerstone to peck stone can be seen in this picture.

Thanks for taking the time to take us on your trip. If you have never posted a detailed hunt before with pictures it can be time consuming. Good finds

Sometimes those hot walks are pleasant. Sometimes, not so much.
Sounds like you took a good grilling out there.

Appreciate each and every photo. Nice finds.

Love those scrapers, especially the one shown in the 6th and 7th photos.

i love those farm field insitus.... i can feel the pry and pop of those pieces as you lift them out of the dirt.

since the farmers do not moldboard plow anymore, the finds have diminished, but the scrapers are still found often it seems
