I just wasn't getting it done at the 1850's school today. So, after talking with the neighbor for a bit I decided to walk over to his place and swing around the silo. Swung in the field while walking over and hit on lots of can trash and what appears to be white metal.

Once over at the silo, the snow started. It was coming down heavy for about 20 minutes although melting as it hit the ground. Hit an odd coin spill for our area, two Canadian pennies.

Next was the remnants of a pocket watch.

Next a belt buckle.

Last was a shot gun shell headstamp.

I spent a total of 4 hours detecting today and only kept 5 items. Thanks for looking...

cool recoveries and thanks for posting

Leslie - I think the cents of those dates lasted pretty well. I've found many in good condition. From a fellow Canadian (and Maritimer to boot!).
