Today's Finds at Park

Had a pretty good day...no gold or silver, but I did manage to find my very first electronic cigarette! Interesting!! Found another token as well... Also pulled in about 8-10 pull-tabs. Dang this hobby is addicting! :tongue3:

Re: Today's Finds at Park

I've found one of those "electronic cigarettes"...I was told it's called a one-hitter, used for smoking illegal substances and that I would get arrested if authorities found it one me. lol. Glad you had a good time, HH!

Re: Today's Finds at Park

they do make those new electronic cigarettes look like the one hitters i used to see all the old golfers use their "grass" in at the golf course i worked at

Re: Today's Finds at Park

just be careful player 99% of city and county parks are off limits for metal detecting.. i live in florida..just because you dont see a big sign stating it doesnt mean its allow.. because these grounds keepers and even police see you doing can be very nasty.. i saw a guy at the park the other day where i live and was metal detecting and told him ''hey, you cant metal detect in the parks'' he told me who cares and proceded.. not even 10 minutes later a county sheriff pulled up and took his garrett ace 250 and started whining about it.. i laughed because i warned him..and i heard him telling the sheriff ''hey i didnt know''.. just be careful...

Re: Today's Finds at Park

I hear ya...but then again, ya can't quite get into trouble for something if there's no law, regulation, or ordinance specifically prohibiting the use of metal detectors at certain parks. If there's a sign that specifically says "no metal detectors" on the park grounds, then I can understand. Just out of curiosity, did you tell that guy that he can't hunt at that park with his metal detector because that's what the rules are for that park, or just because you thought it wasn't allowed there. Thanks for the info! ;D
