Todays Finds From Michigan!

I froze my butt off today trying to magnet fish. I spent about an hour and had 2 decent finds. Not pictured; lots of fishing gear. The reel is from 1993 which is 4 years older than me, and still works! It must have been a recent drop.

Here are todays finds, a nice spoon, and some fishing pliers. Also found a crowbar, and many other fishing things.

I went to my local pier in NoCA and did some crabbing. While waiting to pull up the big crabs I mag fished on the other side of the pier. Spent two hours and didn't catch a single thing on my magnet or in the trap.

It can be rough sometimes, I have gone out and found nothing before too. I mostly go to heavily fished places. When I was in Florida I got a crab trap with my magnet haha!

Did you put it to good use? Here in CA you do not need a license if you are on a man made public pier. But I will get my license soon.

I put it back, it was probably down there for a while, and was too far gone to keep. I do like crabbing though!

A Zebco 202 was the first reel I fished with as a kid.
