Not really 100% as it's still with in the parameters of the Dupondius, as per picture below. This one being slightly under weight at 9.50g, and 27mm which just goes to show how weight, and flans can vary.Good that confirms was Dad states below:
Just a note on IVOBG’s Augustus AS – Although it is not immediately obvious I can clearly make out the PRO[VIDENT] (in the exergue) and the right side temple pillar on the REV. Macka ydon’s example he pictured is spot one – that one he pictured sold as an AS at 30mm and just over 10gms – as per the dimensions just given by Ivobg.– furthermore, there are no Sestertius or Dupondius of that PROVIDENT type recorded to date. So ident as RIC Vol 1 Rome 81 AS complete.
