well i hacked through the frost for all of these finds today enjoy the pics took me 4 hours to dig this stuff. oh and does anyone know how old the buttons are?
goldish one has wadhams coe and co extra rich?
other round one is marked scovill

Civil war era buttons is what it appears to be. The round one I believe is a Zouave button. Nice stuff.

thats my best guess...i think it has to be gold plated being buried so long and not corroding? im not positive but it looked like that outta the ground
