Today's finds

Picked up one 40% from a teller tray and 200 in mixed CWR,MWR dimes. Gave up one 1964 FDR which had a tarnished edge. Almost missed it. Gotta check those edges close! Got a few boxes of dimes to pick up tomorrow...

Not a bad day.. Better than getting skunked.. I have found so many dark dimes that you can barely see are silver.. You really do have to keep a close eye..

I learned my lesson after almost missing a Ben! Now I double check any coin that isn't obviously clad. I have found a handful of 40s that actually looked exactly like clad from the edges... Since they are only 40%, sometimes the copper shows thru on the edge, unlike the 90s, whose silver content always drowns out any copper color.

Dawg I sometimes make the tellers search the halves for me and sell me just the silver ones. It causes a huge line in the bank but who cares?
