It was great day out did my nabors home again its built 1860s, just fue hours out i hit this place hard with my old coil now i have a 13"×12", its great so far, getting to the finds the 2 70s lincolns, the button that I'm not sure how to date on but really nice pattern on it, it looks like it has a shank but it rusted off or something, and i think the best the dog tag it could be any of these years 1987 doubtful or 1887 or 1934 or 1834, i think its 1887 it would be nice if i can find the other peace i looked in the area were it was but nothing so maby sometime ill find it great day

Thanks at least when it does stop the ground will be nice and soak be good for detecting

Dog tag is mot likely from 1934, shame that it's broken. That would have been a sweet little find.

That button is modern, old two piece buttons have brass backs. We call those iron back ones "blazer buttons" because they most likely came from a modern blazer (or one of Grandma's outfits).
