Today's Half Dollar Boxes 4/21/10

Did 8 boxes today none of which was a skunk box.
Although I did not get a skunk box this was the smallest amount of keepers that I've gotten from this particular bank.
Since April has not been so great, I'm scouting out new banks to order from, and will pick up 8 more boxes from a different source on Friday. Don't like doing 16 boxes in a week but I'll see what I get.
Anyway here is the take

Congrats, Rich. Not getting any skunks is not all bad. I can't remember a week where I did not have some skunks but every now and again a good bag comes along. As you know, gotta do it on volume now. Happy Hunting !

Outside of the dream box I got a week ago Friday, 90% of the 14 + boxes a week that I do, have not produced anything. The other 10% have been at best limited to less then 6 keepers, with most producing 1 or 2. So I'm getting around 12 skunk boxes a week since mid January. This has been, by far, the longest stretch of skunky boxes for me.

Wow. I have had sooo many boxes of skunks--at least from my perspective! Congrats on your finds! Are you getting that feeling yet that someone will score in the latter part of April, or May for that matter?

I have the feeling every week that I'm going to pick up multiple dream boxes, and drain all the banks east of the Mississippi of silver.
Hasn't happened yet.

What's really amazing is no skunks, making 15 coins in 8 boxes means you had an average of less than 2 coins per Box, kinda makes the no skunks claim stink in itself, or maybe your skunk got run over by the delivery truck if ya knows what I means.

Which kinda- sorta reminds me of time when was in this place, one of the other guys there always banged his head on a wall, one day in front of us all in chow line he stopped- somebody asked him why and he said cause it fells good to stop; what ticks me off about the whole ordeal was he got out before I did .

Persistence pays off.
I've yet to get one of my two banks to order half-dollar rolls.
Guess I need to change banks?

I've been ordering 8 boxes a week from this bank for the past 7 months and have never gotten more than two skunk boxes, and that is not often. Most times I won't get ant skunk boxes,but I sure do get plenty with 1-4 keepers.
Tomorrow I'm picking up from a skunk bank that I haven't used in almost a year. Maybe I'll get lucky

I gave my Guarda Box bank a 4 month break, things did not improve so have written them off, just doing my Brinks though am contemplating opening a Loomis bank account after seeing a Dlv truck at Bank recently. Oh good luck on your return to new old Bank!
