today's haul, mainly trash, a token, buttons, a pendant, clad
I had high hopes, new sampson digger and at a school. love the new sampson, hardly use the hand digger at all now. was digging mainly the signals in the 50 range today but dug any other decent signal as well. figured I would thin out some of the trash and I did but also a few buttons that I used electrolysis to clean up, one seems to have a cross of sorts between the button holes. all were modern as best I can tell, the zipper was a good heavy duty one. two iron rings? the pendant is most likely a souvenir, has Lake Degray and other writing mis stamped inside. the token.. well, it read as a 85 on my Gold and I had high hopes of silver and as the plug turned over, it looked like a silver coin by the round edge. unfortunately the weight was not there and as I rubbed the dirt away from the face, I saw a bust alright, just the wrong kind of a bust and on the other side was the butt! LOL, it said, "heads you win on the breast side, tails you lose on the butt side!" so I only show the back side of the token, a little too racy for me to post. I was cut short on this hunt, a man came over and was full of questions, he was walking the track and had been watching me. Thanks for looking View attachment 1045741
