Today I 9decided to head off to the spot by the lake different detector. Todays machine was my Minelab Explorer XS stock coil. I run the machine little discrimination and switch between Iron Mask & Smart Find auto sensitivity running at 22 messed with it some.
The first Dime is a 1926 first find of the day. It was sold tone ID was not in the usual location for me ground is very dry. I was digging a good share of beer can lids. On a slight incline came the next Dime 1925 pic_20200923_155836.webpagain not my usual target ID but tone was good all the coins were decent depth 7 inches give or take. There was wheat cents we're piled in one area others here and there under roots tough digging.
Think I made a good call to bring the Explorer ...ive been around the same area different machines and was successfull. Thanks for looking HH Michaelpic_20200923_153101.webp
