Today's Hunt with Iron Patch

Chris and I took a road trip to Canada to hunt with Iron Patch today. Well, we actually didn't hunt with the man, but it sure felt like it. I dug this 1844 Canadian Bank Token after 20 minutes of swinging. The site didn't pan out like we wished, but I still scored a copper for the pile.

We are seeking permission for a new site this Monday. Chris has off that day, so we will try to tear up the fields again soon!

A copper is a copper, but when a Canadian copper pops, I think JuUUUuuUUUnnK! It adds to the total for the year though. We are at 15 coppers so far.

Sweet! I am game for Monday. I have off that day and Ella is teaching in the afternoon.

Nice token Kyle. It amazes me how far those those Canadian tokens made it into the U.S. Heck, I found one from Montreal in a CS camp here in Middle Tennessee! I don't think anybody from here was going to go up there and use it especially since they didn't issue it any more after 1835. HH, Quindy.
