Hit the mill site again today. We have still no access to the better fields, but these will stay open till spring! 
So only a few scrappies from the 1800s, two pendants and the usual bullets and casings. Best of today is the diamond shaped thingy, about 1" long. Looks medieval, so any suggestion is welcome.
Update! Done a bit ceaning on the medieval whatsit and a little gold is shining through.... After looking at the spur i found some time ago it looks like a part from another knights spur!

any idea what it might be? definitely got some gold showing through. good luck on access to the other field.
