todays meager finds

the lady who owns the farm that i got permission to detect is on vacation in florida, so that spot was off limits today, but possibly been the last pretty day for awhile i was itching to go detecting.
so i said i'll save my gas and just hit my own yard again.The finds where far and few between, but did manage to find a 1918 wheatie, 1950 wheatie and a nice old iron stirrup.
i'll post pics when i get a camera and if this jnky computer will let me.

Sounds like a good day to me, where there are wheaties, there is silver. Not sure
if you hunt in all metal or not, but try it. I also have a ACE 250 and I try all the settings..
Even in all metal you will still get signals that sound very good and register in the
good range. I try to check the signals that hit on the right side. Even though I can't
really say they are good. Sometimes you will be surprised at what pops out of the ground.
