Today's pottery find and a quartz broke from last hunt

My son called and said he was getting off work early and did I want to hunt the sand bars downstream so I dropped everything and got to spend quality time and good conversation with my youngest and found a nice size pottery shard. Also, posting a pick of a broken quartz point I found recently. Thanks for the look and HH!

Most of my finds are pottery lol Wish I could find more points than I do but they're stuck in places I apparently can't reach.

Yes it is! It was a beautiful warm day in western NC today and now cold air blowing in tonight. We really haven't had much of a Winter this year but it's not Spring yet. We saw lots of critters in the creek, crawfish, frogs and baby salamanders but mister/missus snakey stayed out of sight and sound and that is fine with me lol Going to try and get back out there tomorrow for a bit too

Made it back out to the creek this afternoon and found this little guy in a sand bar further upstream. They're out there but without much rain I have to work for them lol
