Found a shard earlier today then had visitors which took me out of the creek and by the time they left it was getting dark, geez! I hate to fuss all the time but between the time change, shorter days and falling leaves it makes it a challenge to find anything lately. Maybe I'll get lucky again next weekend. Anyway, here's a pic of a pottery shard I found today. Thanks for the look and HH!

Amazing that you found anything with all the leaves in the creek. Everything looks like something right now in the water. We are under severe drought here in the tn Valley.

We're in a severe drought too. I've been using a garden rake to move the sand and stones around to let the water rinse it all, sort of rearranging things, it can be hard on the back if I'm not careful, oh and sifting too. I've only been in a small section of the creek lately and need to go up or down to see how things look since I haven't been in those sections all Summer.

Nice find. Good luck with the sifting! There has to be points in your creek.

Good eye spotting that one!

Nice pottery you found. We are in a drought here in Alabama too! Good luck.

Better than what I have been finding which is nothing.

Good find! I can't even see the water in my creek because of leaves. I hate this time change.

I hate the time change too! Almost go into a seasonal depression due to it. I've only been in a small area of the creek lately, might try to go in some other areas since I'm off today and it's warm.

I cant see the water either cause there isnt any. Looks like a old roadbed when I was last there. The roadbed was covered in about 3 inches of oak leaves.
