Today's Relic Hunt (4-10-09)

I went out today with 'Okie Hillbilly', it was cool & windy, but we 'toughed it out'.
We hit one 'old houseplace' that had been bulldozed, just a well left, we found pocket watch, plow points, wagon hub, OK tax token, 1920's penny, overalls button, (Round House brand), shotgun shell end, fruit jar lids, wagon parts, etc....
We then moved to another place that had burned years ago, we found bent fork, horseshoe, plow point, toy trailer, plus Okie got into a 'Honey Hole' of Memorial pennies, he found so many, he (felt sorry for me) I guess, but he let me take over for a while, he then moved & found more pennies & a dime.
All together we found over '40 Memorials' in a spot about 4' + 4', it must have been the 'play area' of the little boy who lived there, (he's about 32 now).
We had another 'Great day out'.

Thanks, we had a 'great outing', I guess the 12th Georgia would be the 'Overall button', it sounded good. ::)

What a great day to get out today, wish I was with you. Would have been nicer than what I was doing.

Glad you found a penny 'honey-hole!' ;D

Nice looking finds, Fossis. Looks like you are running a Tesoro? I only see the Prizm next to your name and was curious what you were running.
