A damp start did not deter us, Himself’s truck is still off the road, so the back up vehicle did duty, which limits our search field, having said that from the track we park on we have the choice of 6 fields to wander round, so not to bad! Xx

So what did we find, first off this little decorative bit, not sure if it’s part of buckle? Then a complete thimble, buckle, possible Roman pin, and part of a chunky cube, 2 folded bits of lead with hole in, 2 lead weights, 3 musket balls, pot leg, piece of bell metal plate and spoon handle, tack pin and piece of buckle, super pleased I found a bit more of the silver match holder, random bits, buttons, token (?) 1860 half penny, and TWO Elizabeth 1st hammereds … found by yours truly 😎 xx

Not many photo ops out there today as dull, wet and muddy… so have included and Ariel shot of the fields, we are in the green ones in this pic. xx

Sweet wet hunt you had today, congrats.
Two Lizzie hammered, not shabby at all there blossom.
Liking the big shanked button, though what's the thin edge find beside it?

The Purple Dead Nettle has a lot going on for besides a beautiful flowers.

Pasture/fields area great back up for the damp/muddy days.

Still in the fix it up for himself's truck.
Bloody shame.

Wow! What a site. Good job. Love that thimble.

Congrats on all the great finds. I especially like the Queen Elizabeth silver.
